She now feels privileged to provide eye care for the children of Redmond.ĭr. As her experience and expertise with children’s eye care grew, pediatrics became her passion. During her involvement in school vision screenings, vision therapy, and Children’s Vision Days, she learned the importance of healthy visual development at an early age. Her training included clinical rotations in ocular disease at the Veteran’s Affair Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, cataract and LASIK co-management in Mount Dora, Florida, and pediatric eye care in Boise, Idaho. Skyles graduated with honors from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. She found a rewarding career in Optometry and has been captivated by it ever since.ĭr. It was there that she became interested in the functions of the eye and how they relate to vision development.
Skyles conducted research in retinal biology at UCSB’s Neuroscience Research Institute. Kim Skyles graduated from Reseda High School then went on to study Biopsychology at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His areas of interest are specialty contact lenses including scleral lenses and rigid gas permeable leneses, orthokeratology for myopia control, and dry eye disease management. Binstock has been at Redmond Eye Clinic since 2016 and took over ownership at the beginning of 2018. In October, 2017, he was granted Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry.ĭr.
Binstock is currently a member of the American Optometric Association, Optometric Physicians of Washington, and King County Optometric Society. Binstock completed a residency in Primary Care and Low Vision Rehabilitation at Group Health Northgate in Seattle, WA. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and was awarded two excellence awards in both ocular disease and primary care optometry.Īfter graduating, Dr. Binstock attended Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California, where he was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society all four years. He made the decision to become an optometrist and has never looked back.ĭr. Binstock developed a strong interest in the eyes and ocular health. After a brief time as a veterinarian, Dr. He was also given the distinct honor of being named “Who’s Who in Veterinary Medicine” among new graduates entering the field. After college, he then graduated Magna Cum Laude from Western University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in Pomona, California. He then went to the University of California, Santa Barbara where he majored in Aquatic Biology. Jeff Binstock grew up in Southern California, graduating high school in Woodland Hills.
